Match Maker

Terms

These are the house rules for Match Maker, in plain language. They are not a lawyer's opinion and they are not legal advice.

Who runs Match Maker

Match Maker is operated by Alexander Berkley, a sole trader in New Zealand. It is not an incorporated company, and it has no company number.

The contact path we read is the Match Maker WhatsApp chat: +64 21 128 1431.

What Match Maker is

Match Maker suggests padel fours and messages you on WhatsApp. Court booking stays with you, the club, or Playtomic. Match Maker does not hold a court and does not take payment.

Playtomic and the clubs are separate services. Their prices, cancellations, and rules are theirs. A link we pass on is only a link.

No match guarantee

We do not guarantee a match, a partner, a time, or a court. A suggestion can be full, wrong, or cancelled. A WhatsApp message from Match Maker is a suggestion, not a confirmed booking.

Acceptable use

Use Match Maker to find people to play padel with. Do not use it to harass anyone, to send spam, or to pretend to be someone else. Do not try to break or overload the service. We can stop replying if a chat is abused.

Your account

Your account is the WhatsApp chat with Match Maker. There is no password. To sign in on the website, send login in the chat and open the one-hour link it sends you. The operator pages have their own login.

You can correct your details in WhatsApp with Update details. You can remove the profile with Delete account, then Yes, delete. What that removes is described in the privacy notice.

Changes

The date at the top is the version of these terms. If we change what we collect, or who can see your number, we will update the privacy notice and the consent page first, and we will say so in WhatsApp before we rely on that change.
